Tail Signals

The Clan cats are Warriors and as such have their own techniques and methods in battle. One technique is the way in which they have learned to communicate with one another without speech (so they remain silent to the enemy). This is the use of tail signals, they are usually used by patrol leaders who give the cats in the patrol instructions, each cat knows to always keep an eye on the leaders tail.

The use of tail signals was actually first developed by ShadowClan, however over time all the Clans picked up this technique of communication and rely upon it in battle and other situations. Below is a list of all the tail signals used by the cats of the Clans.

Tail Pointing Low, Parallel to the Ground and Sweeping	Spread Out

Tail Held Erect and Waving from Side to Side	Stay Behind Me
Tail Kinked over Back	Follow Me
